2025 Hampshire County Scout Sporter Air Rifle Competition

Thank you to everyone who entered.
The finalists (top8) are marked with a Q in the Qualified for final column. We will be arranging to contact the representatives of each of the qualifiers with sign up instructions for the finals to be held on 14th June 2025 at 21st Romsey Scout HQ, Joe Bigwood Close, Nursling, Southampton, SO16 0YL. Finals spaces will only be confirmed by payment of the £5 fee.
The final will be run at 6yds on NSRA 6yd Rifle Paper targets using "whizzer" target changers as follows:
1. Arrival check-in, equipment control checks, Safety Briefing
2. Call to the Line 10 minutes prior to match start time.
3. Sighting and Preparation time (10 minutes)
4. Start Called 40 competition shots to count (50 minutes)
5. Stop Called.
6. Results checked and Presentation of Medals.
We encourage all athletes where possible to use their own guns or their scout group guns which can be setup in advance for them by their local instructors/coaches. Loan rifles will be available for those who request them and will be either Air Arms S200, BSA Silver Star, Air Arms MPR S400 rifles (subject to availibilty). Adjustment of sights is permitted in this competition so knowledge on how to do this would be an advantage to the athlete. It is also recommended that the instructors/coaches are available to support their athletes throughout the match.
The competition will be run to NSRA Sporter Rules. Please pay particular attention to the rules in regard to guns and clothing to ensure compliance.
